Camp of the Hills’ mission is to create space and invitation for people to hear, see, know, and experience God.

The summer staff experience is a life-changing opportunity where young adults get to engage in hands-on ministry and grow their faith for a deeper, more intimate relationship with God.

Overnight Camps

Summer Staff for overnight camps specifically serve campers ages 8-18 coming from diverse, low-income, and underserved backgrounds. The summer staff’s goal is to be a positive role model for campers, provide motivation and suggestions for overcoming challenges, and help spiritually mentor their relationship with God.

Poiema Program

Poiema Staff specifically serves highschoolers’ ages 15-18 who are seeking to have an opportunity to grow spiritually while playing an integral role of service to summer camp at Camp of the Hills. Poiema camp sessions are two weeks long and provide an enriching opportunity for staff to learn and grow through serving others and diving deeper into discipleship study.

Day Camp

Summer Staff for day camps specifically serves children ages 4-8 years old who cannot yet participate in our Overnight Summer Camp Program due to age. A typical day of Day Camp includes TimberNook experiences, lunch, devotional & worship, crafts, snacks, and activities such as slingshot, archery, low ropes, canoeing, mud construction, and pavilion games.
